I could have easily done a St. Patrick’s day theme, Easter theme, or a April fool’s theme for the next one of these. I also could have done more Pride one’s, like I had promised before. But I just got a bunch of games for the “Nintendo Switch,” (without breaking the bank, and beat one of my new Favorites for the System: “Mario Odyssey!”
It’s so fun, I beat the game with collecting 250 moons in 15 hours of play, and then doubled both of those numbers, along with a lot of rad outfits and Souvenirs. It’s been fun! Maybe I will one day get all the moons, but I should focus on more “grown up” stuff at the moment, right?
I have climbed up onto the Nintendo Band wagon as much as I have fallen off , which is to say Multiple times. But their new console offers as much of the things I treasure in their games as well as a whole different level when it comes to amounts of ways to play. With some of the third part titles and stuff coming to the console, I feel like I don’t have to chase down multiple systems like I may have before.
It’s not that they are a perfect company, and this is definitely #Notsponsored. And yet for someone who’s owned the latest Zelda for 3 quarters of a year, I have barely drawn anything related to it. I need to practice more fundamentals and basics, but I want to draw stuff I like too. And using the Logo always helps for practice. Even my “New Year’s” version of the Logo was slightly inspired by the big festival scene from Odyessy, that I had seen snipets from the trailer.
So, here we go! 😉 hope you enjoy!
Eros is only one type of love, and in times past it was thought as impatient, irrational, and consuming. Tossing it to the wind or suppressing it isn’t the answer, I believe. But channeling it healthily, and respecting that not everyone feels those types of love I think is important, too.
So love thy neighbour, help a friend, spend time with your lover(s), your family (which may be chosen rather than the one you were born into), and be there for each other. And as much as we can celebrate our deep passions for one another, we should also cherish those in our community that don’t feel them, or partially feel them as well.
So if I was going to make it a T-shirt it would either be:
Or this one
But I would need to fix the lettering a bit for both, and make the second on less blurry.
